Creating a Safe Yoga Studio Environment

Maintaining a safe yoga studio environment is important to Jennifer’s Leaf. We have practices in place, to ensure the well-being of both instructors and practitioners.

• Commencement and Closing

We like to begin and end our class in meditation. Please reserve your class in advance using our site or app to ensure a quiet, smooth, and secure start to our session. In order to ensure that we are providing the best experience possible all of our classes each class will start and end promptly at their scheduled times. Once class time arrives,  the front door to the studio becomes locked and no one will be granted late entry into class! If you must leave class before we have come to a close, please be mindful of your fellow practitioners and be quiet as you leave.

• Commitment to Equitable Teaching

Jennifer’s Leaf ensures safe, and equitable yoga practices. We promote accessible and equitable teaching to ensure inclusivity. We foster an environment that welcomes diversity and supports all practitioners.

• Hygiene and Cleanliness

Jennifer’s Leaf has a consistent cleaning routine which is essential to providing students with a sanitary space. This includes regular disinfection of common areas, mats, and equipment.

• COVID-19 Considerations

Your health and safety are our top priorities. If you’re feeling under the weather or if you’ve recently tested positive for COVID-19, we kindly ask you to wait at least five days before coming back to the studio. It’s important to ensure that you’re in good health to join us for class, so please take a moment to test negative for COVID-19 before you schedule your next session.

• Accident Prevention

Please listen to your body, every instruction is an invitation. Yoga is a journey of self-discovery and personal growth, one that honors the unique nature of every individual. It’s essential to listen your body’s signals and respect its limitations. By tuning into your body’s cues, you can adjust poses and sequences that work best for you.

We’re grateful for your cooperation in keeping our community safe and healthy!
